Welcome to the magical world of the Moomins at Ollebol & Muis!
Have you ever heard of the Moomins? The Moomins are white, round trolls with large snouts, created by the Finnish writer Tove Jansson (1914–2001). They are the main characters in a series of Moomin books and in the Moomintroll comic strip.
The adventurous Moomin family lives in their cozy home in Moominvalley, an enchanting wooded area surrounded on one side by the Lonely Mountains and on the other by the sea. It's a place where everyone is welcome – with all their peculiarities – and where imperfection and tolerance go hand in hand. These stories always carry a hopeful message: there is always reason for optimism, as long as we keep believing in each other.
And now for the exciting news: Ollebol & Muis is thrilled that Moomin products have finally been added to our assortment! During my childhood, the Moomins were on TV with their adventures. Years later, I encounter them every time I'm on holiday in Scandinavia. Although the Moomins have been favorites in these countries for years, they are starting to gain more recognition in the Netherlands and win the hearts of not only the generation who knows them from "back then" but also the younger generation.
