Why playing offline is good for your child's development.
In a world full of screens and digital distractions, it's more important than ever to give your child space to play offline. Playing outdoors, drawing, or a game of memory stimulates imagination, social skills, and motor development. It helps children to think creatively, solve problems, and build self-confidence. Moreover, offline play offers peace and clarity, something children (and parents!) can use in these busy times. It's no coincidence that the cabinet recently issued a guideline to only allow social media from the age of 15. I wonder if this will actually work, but it would be a good step. Rules have also been tightened in schools, and if you talk to young people, almost everyone says it was incredibly difficult to get used to at first, but that it's much more pleasant without a mobile phone during breaks.
