Moominmamma is made from sustainable PEFC-certified birch plywood and can be assembled by hand without tools or glue. Its convenient envelope size makes it easy to ship, and multiple products can fit in a letterbox package!

Moominmamma by Lovi is made based on the original illustrations by Tove Jansson, the beloved author and illustrator of the Moomin stories. The Moomins are Scandinavian trolls, living in Moominvalley with various characters, and were brought to life by the Finnish writer Tove Jansson (1914-2001). Since 1945, a total of 9 books, 5 picture books, and 74 comic strips have been published.

All Lovi products are designed by Anne Paso and produced by the family business in Northern Finland. The products are entirely made in Finland from the highest quality birch plywood – true Finnish design! After felling trees, new ones are planted. In Northern Europe, forests are now growing faster than they are being cut down. Lovi wishes for this to be true for the rest of the world as well. Therefore, they donate 5,000 trees annually to areas in the world where these new trees are urgently needed for nature's growth.
