Hattifatteners are always on the move. They wander in large groups, waving their small hands. Hattifatteners often sail the seas in small boats, but also travel over land. No one knows where they come from or where they are going. Hattifatteners are generally completely harmless. They say nothing and hear nothing; they just tremble and continue their journey. During thunderstorms, however, they become electrically charged, and then you have to be careful.

The Lovi Hattifatteners are made after the original illustrations by Tove Jansson, the beloved author and illustrator of the Moomin stories.

These small wooden Moomin figurines from Lovi are packaged in plastic-free packaging. The package contains three small creatures that can be attached to each other as a group. The Moomins are Scandinavian trolls, living in Moominvalley with various characters, brought to life by the Finnish writer Tove Jansson (1914-2001). Since 1945, a total of 9 books, 5 picture books, and 74 comic strips have been published.

All Lovi products are designed by Anne Paso and produced by the family business in Northern Finland. The products are entirely made in Finland from the highest quality birch plywood – true Finnish design! After felling trees, new trees are planted. In Northern Europe, the forest is now growing faster than it is being cut down. Lovi wishes for this to be true for the rest of the world as well. Therefore, they annually donate 5,000 trees to areas in the world where these new trees are urgently needed for nature's growth.
