Who is behind the name Ollebol & Muis?
My name is Céline and for over 16 years, I have been the proud owner of Ollebol & Muis. When my youngest was born, after my maternity leave, I did not return to employment with my former employer. I have always been creative, and when my daughter's doll had a larger wardrobe than I did, it was time to start making other things. The doll clothes, with modifications, were very suitable as premature clothing, and that's how I started my website. The customers who visited my site asked for other products, so I started making crocheted baby items, and later Waldorf dolls and cuddly toys were added.
How did you come up with the name for your website?
Coming up with a good name that suits you was quite difficult, but take your children's pet names, put an & in between, and voilà, the name of my webshop was born. It turns out to be a difficult name because I also sell internationally, and it's quite hard to pronounce then. But since I'm fairly well-known in the doll world and recognized, I'll leave the not-so-international name as it is...
What do you sell:
In addition to all the homemade products such as music boxes, crocheted cuddly toys, Waldorf dolls, Butterfly dolls, baby accessories, knitted sleep sacks, music mobiles, doll clothes, etc., I have supplemented the Ollebol & Muis range with a number of beautiful brands.
I can proudly say that Ollebol & Muis has the largest assortment in the Netherlands of the beautiful English children's brand Belle & Boo. Because they have outsourced all products to various companies in England and no longer sell directly through their website, I am allowed to continue selling from the Netherlands! You can decorate the walls of your child's room with the reusable wall stickers and furnish their bed with a beautiful duvet cover. Would you prefer a smaller product? You can, Ollebol & Muis also has various tins for the little collector in its assortment. For bedtime, the storybooks with Mandy Sutcliffe's beautiful illustrations are also very popular. Are you creative yourself? Then the beautiful Belle & Boo fabrics are definitely for you! Take a quick look to see if you have a favorite fabric print among the current range of Belle & Boo fabrics that is right for your quilt or baby clothes! At the moment, I am also having a popular product that is out of stock, re-produced. A mix of old and new prints which I will tell you more about soon! I am sure this will be a bestseller in the autumn! In addition to my large selection of the beautiful Belle & Boo cards, I have also been a distributor of Belle & Boo cards since June.
For 12 years, I have been an official dealer of Sonny Angels. The immensely popular collectible lucky angels / dolls have been a true craze since the COVID-19 pandemic! Where I used to have all types amply in stock, they can unfortunately no longer meet the worldwide demand. My stock is now delivered every few weeks and is often sold out within a few hours. I wonder if I will eventually be able to fill my shop with enough stock again. I hope so!!
Miffy and Jeroom by Atelier Pierre:
Miffy and Jeroom the dino complete my offering on the Ollebol & Muis website. Miffy, the style icon, has been a favorite for young and old for years and is, besides being a wonderfully decorative item in your own nursery, also a very nice baby shower gift! The Miffy piggy banks are available in beautiful warm colors that fit well with the current popular baby room styling. Both Miffy and Jeroom the dino are beautiful products from Atelier Pierre, a Belgian organization that collaborates with various designers, including the designer of these beautiful Miffy products and Jeroom the dino.
